I'm the grandchild of a photographer. My Papa wasn't a professional, but his role as family picture taker showed me the importance of taking photos and printing them. Having a large, loud, and expressive family has, one, allowed for me to know all to well how hard getting a family photo can be; but two, it taught me the magics of wrangling family and even getting laughs out of family members who don't like to be in photos.
My love for photography is clearly in my DNA, but in undergraduate my studies in journalism led me to pick up my camera. My 1st internship in 2015 I was a report and photo-journalist. In 2020 I turned my education and skill into a business. I understood how important photos can capture history and tell the story of political rallies and school board meetings; but I wanted to capture the stories of families I knew even more.
Between journalism and my deep-rooted connection to the camera I want to Legacy 83 Studios to be a place that captures families in their truest form and give families photographs they deem worthy to be shared for generations to come.
Flipping through photo albums has been apart of my entire life, and for more than 5 years I've been striving to give families & individuals pictures that become part of albums that share their legacy.
Photography that goes beyond digitals
A printographer is a photographer committed to providing quality prints albums and wall art so they can relieve the moments, preserve the legacy and give their grandkids something to look back it.
Social media comes and goes, but one thing that has stood the test of time is physical albums and prints. Keep the nostalgia, create new traditions by having memorable photoshoots and walking away with jaw-dropping photo albums.
